On Snowy days, I know I like to drink a huge cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows so,for my project I created cocoa packet holders that I will be giving to my co-workers.I created the mug shaped packet holder (stitched the edges together with a zigzag stitch) from the "Christmas Treat" file by Too Cute by Jessica and the ginger from "ginger spice cup" file by KaDoodle Bug Designs ginger  faces and sentiments are from Peachy Keen Stamps and added a ribbon bow, an cocoa packet and a candy cane.

the snowman stamp from PK-1345 and sentiment stamp from PK-321

I cut separate pieces for the hat,mittens and shirt.

I used flocking powder on the hat and mittens to give it a little dimension

 Up-cycle something in your home

for my I'm up-cycling the plastic CD that comes in your new pack of CD's it's on the very bottom.

I'm making this into a Christmas wall (or door) hanger

 next I covered it with a snowy pattern paper for the background,

cut the edges with my scalloped scissors (yes...my scalloped scissors)

I used the stamps from the PKSC- July 2013  kit

and PK- Snowflakes(Christmas tree)

first I started stamping and coloring the leaves and hand cutting them,

yes I know...kinda tedious lol

than I used my new cutter bee circle cutter :) to create the window

 

the leaves....a raffia bow and I also added Martha Stewart fall color glitter.

it's all coming together.NOT always do my projects turn out the way 

I envision it in my mind...lol
