Hello Project Lifers!!!

Have you ever thought of making your own Project Life filler cards?

maybe you're just like me and have so many pretty scrapbook paper that you never use,because they are just that....too pretty lol, I seem to have that problem and tend to hoard them. But,since I am now doing Project Life I am more than willing to use them for filler cards(I wonder why?!) but anywho.... I am giving it a whirl!!!

tid bit tip- be sure to have the size cards you need 

ie; 2-3X4 vertical vs. horizontal(especially with pattern paper)

to go with whatever page protector style you plan to use

so here is my 2 page "Camping" layout using the cards I created and leaving some filler cards blank for journaling and I also used sentiment stamps from Craftin Desert Diva's

I think by creating your very own project life cards makes it a little more personal.I used my cricut expression(YES,I still have one lol) and the SCAL program to cut my 3X4 and 4X6 cards.I just used the basic shapes(square with rounded corners) in the SCAL program stretched the image to the size I needed,filled the sheet with the amount I needed and cut away.I think they turned out pretty good,don't you think?

How to use your duplicate Project Life Cards

So Today,I would love to share with you several all occasion Handmade greeting cards and tags that I have created using these duplicate cards....

first card~ I created a Valentine's day card using the black polka dot PL card from daydreamer edition and KaDoodle Bug Designs svg file "Valentine Bear" which is also a limited time "freebie" sentiment stamps by Craftin Desert Diva's

second card~ I created a winter card using another "duplicate" PL card from Amber cedition and Craftin Desert Diva's stamps

these sympathy cards were created with PL cards from the Amer Edition and sentiment stamps by Unity Stamp Co.

 

and here are the tags I made using extra Project Life cards sentiment stamps are by Unity Stamp Co.

 

 

and cards that I have created using PL cards before I started Project Life lol I know right?! What was I thinking???

 Project Life~ a new journey begins...... 

I have heard of project life but have never really given it a second thought.

 But as the new year approaches we are gonna give it a whirl!!!

While chatting with a friend about "Project Life" about a week ago,she had mentioned starting it in January.I have heard about it but never really looked into it until now.NOW I think we will turn into PL junkies lol Wanted to share this first page of mine which pictures my husband and kids who are my life and now that the kids are older and starting their own lives it's amazing and sad all in one.You wish the best for them as adults as you did when they were little.Which leaves my husband and I with an almost empty nest,and more time on our hands lol and moments of when we wish the kids were little again.It's amazing when you were younger time took forever! but now that you are older,time sure flies by.I think Project Life is capturing those moments big or little....

Fall Theme up-cycle door hanger

My "Fall Theme up-cycle" project for the KaDoodle Bug Designs bi-weekly Challenge which started today until Oct.16th happening here>> KBD Challenges I used the files "Girl/Boy Fall Bears" and title from "Happy Fall Y'all" and I also used Peachy Keen Stamps for the bears faces PK-1429 and pumpkin PK-692 thanks for stopping by!!!

 This "Witchy Bear Boot" was created using the svg files from KaDoodle Bug Designs

"Withcy Bears" and "Prim Halloween"(boot) the boot can also hold Halloween treats,I enlarged the file to about 12" and double cut the file(used black cardstock and pattern paper) to create the boot. the sentiment stamps are from Craftin Desert Divas  used Halloween colored twine for the boot laces.also used Peachy Keen Stamps PK-1429 Variety Face Asst. for the cutest bear face ever!!! and colored jell pens for eyes
