Today I'm sharing with you another Project Life page I created with pictures from our vacation back in 2013 to South Dakota we went there for our 24th wedding anniversary and we're actually going back again this coming August.It's such a beautiful state and we rented a cabin and rode our motorcycle.it's something we enjoy doing now that our kids are grown and on their own.he gets to ride his motorcycle and I get to take lots of pictures so we have the best of both worlds(I think) lol

on the left page; is a town called Elkader which sits along the Turkey river in North East Iowa
we always love driving through that town.

Monday Madness "Everyday Life" Post #21 part 1

Hello it's DT Elecia here for another Monday Madness post

today's post is "part 1" post of 2(next Monday)

I don't do Project life "weekly" like most project lifers,I usually do may pages by "Monthly" it really depends how busy my life is on a weekly vs. monthly basis lol some weeks are very boring!!! but being that it's summer time.My husband and I love to do road trips on our motorcycle and we will be going on a week long vacation to South Dakota at the end of August on our Motorcycle.we have a Kawasaki Vulcane(yes! it's not a Harley lol)

This weekend we finally had a beautiful HOT day,we have gotten so much rain and it usually of course it usually rains on the weekends! go figure!!!

this bike trip was a total of 395 miles

traveled in the North East side of Iowa which is such a beautiful area lots of hills and not so much flatland.we enjoy traveling through small town rural areas and we always travel the back roads and not so much the interstate.I love taking photos of the old buildings and architecture and old farms.

Pink and Main Guest DT Project #2

Hello all you crafty peeps!!! 

here is another Guest DT project for Pink and Main Stamps

I used the stamp set "Whale of a time" so adorable

colored the whale and heart with copic pens

I cut the clouds out from a pattern cardstock and used pop dots on a couple of the clouds 

enamel dots embellishments
I just LOVE this stamp set!!!

I'm sure you can think of lots of reasons to scrap a specific family member. We can't wait to see!

For my project life layout,I couldn't pick just one specific family member,

so I did a layout of both my kids Brittany(25) and Tyler(22) they are my world and they have the best relationship any siblings could have.I have always stressed to them while growing up that they are all they have is each other and to always have each others back and they have done just that so far.I couldn't ask for anything more!!!!I love these two to the moon and back 100X's.

These are just a few pictures of them together for halloween,Tyler taking his sister for a ride on his new motorcycle,the two of them on the beach when we went back to Hawaii and the two of them on a night out in Iowa City posing with the Hawkeye!!!

Hello Project Lifers!!!

Welcome back to another Awesome Monday Madness!!

It's Bimini Moose DT Elecia here sharing with you another Monday Madness post I've created another complete page of yet another motorcycle ride,this time our son joined us and loved showing off his new paint job on his bike that he worked on and created the pin stripping which he painted with multi colors that changed in the sunlight,he's pretty crafty in his own way....although we have had lots of rain the days before this day seemed like it would be promising,we did come across some patches of rain which was very little but when you're on a motorcycle it seems like a lot of rain lol I think it ended up being about a 250+ mile ride,slowly breaking our butts in for our road trip to South Dakota in August.The right side pocket page has 4-4X6 pockets and the larger pocket which measured about 8"X6" so I added in some scrapbooking techniques.

for today's post I have created a 2 page layout of Mother's Day weekend,we spent the Saturday at my daughters house,she was having a garage sale.actually the towns that we live in hosts a city wide garage sale within each town,so the town she lives in had it on the 8th of May and she invited us over for a cook out.we had been getting a lot of rain in the past week and the day of her garage sale turned out to be a perfect day!after the garage sale we had a backyard fire, good company,stories and good eats!!
