Hello there..... here is my Guest DT project for Die Cuttin Diva's
Thank you Georgiana Carson for the invite to join as guest DT
I really appreciate the opportunity.

 I've been wanting to create one of these wreaths
and finally got around to doing it,
thanks to Corina's Creative place

for sharing her wreath that she made
and sharing the tutorial video 
it helped after several viewings lol I tend to over think things,
 this wreath was so very simple and I love the outcome
it is now hanging on my door :)

I've also added fall colored shaped leaves from
Cricut Cartridge-Mother’s Day Bouquet 
used 3 embossing folders from Darice
inked leaves with walnut stain and tea dye Tim Holtz distress ink
added a couple of pine cones I collected several years ago
metal wreath frame(Walmart)
burlap (Hobby Lobby)
wired ribbon(Hobby Lobby)

which by the way are very hard to find!!

made about 25 baby shower invites using Craftin Desert Diva's   

under the sea stamp set,landscape die set,short and sweet svg tag,

simply said stamp set(you're invited)

DIY pinterest foot scrub,was a hit with the ladies!!!!

assorted stamp companies for thank you and baby foot/hand print.

the bottles are  re purposed starbucks ice coffee bottles,covered with pattern paper and a 1 1/2" circle punch for the top of the cap which is stamped with CDD's "Oh baby" stamp from "simply said" the cap is actually the light blue,so it worked perfectly with my baby shower theme and filled with Dove assorted chocolates.

for today's project I created a camping scene card

who doesn't love camping during the summer months??? 

it's something both my husband and I have done since we were little with our families.

Now we've made our own camping memories with our kids,but funny thing is our camping trips never fail and always ends up like a Chevy Chase national lampoon vacation,I kid you not!!!

now that we look back it's funny but at the time,not so much!!

Monday Madness~Project Life #27

Welcome to Project Life~Monday Madness

Instead of having a bbq with family and friends as most Americans did to celebrate 4th of July Independence Day,our kids(whom are adults) opted to spend it together with their significant others and watch fireworks.So my husband and I decided to road trip it to parts unknown!!! drove through towns we haven't been through before.We traveled toward East Iowa.Saw lots of interesting things, it was a beautiful day! I never thought there would be so many American flag designed clothing,I was pretty impressed and people were proud to show off the RED,WHITE and Blue!!!

Ok so I'm a little behind in posting my pictures from July
but I don't do weekly project life pages,it's pretty random and based on photo ops..lol
My kids are adults and even my dogs don't like having their pictures taken and if I do get a picture in of them,they are sleeping(kinda boring)

Hello Blogger heads!!!
Welcome back to Monday Madness~Project Life style!!

Today's project life page is of another motorcycle road trip my husband and I did on June 27th
luckily Iowa is big enough to mix things up lol
we are actually planning a trip to South Dakota at the end of August(Can't WAIT!!!)
vacation can not get here fast enough!!!
these are pictures taken with my phone,although I have taken pictures while on the motorcycle
with my Canon DSLR,I'll do that in South Dakota
also need to get one of those selfie sticks lol
so I take a few pictures of both my husband and I instead of just scenic photos, although I must admit they have been beautiful days,sunny and blue skies!!!
I hope you all enjoy seeing these pages as much as I enjoy creating them and taking the pictures!!!

Monday Madness Project Life-Everyday Life #23

As you may know Bimini Moose has closed it's doors as of June,

 as a member of her design team I did weekly posts titled "Monday Madness" 

which consisted of  Project Life pages and filler card projects.

I have decided to continue posting "Monday Madness" 

as my regular Monday Madness posts here on my blog,I kinda missed it :)

and it helps me not fall behind on my project life pages........

I am NOT the traditional Project Lifer and I create my pages by "Months"
instead of weekly like they do traditionally.
It's whatever works for me when it works!!!

For Today's post this is of course more photos of our Road Trips via our motorcycle,this is something both my husband and I enjoy doing together one road trip for us will usually consist of a 200+ mile bike ride,my friends think we're crazy....lol


These photos were taken on Father's Day as our adult kids had made their own plans, my husband and I decided to hit the road and enjoy the beautiful day,which it was!

Today I'm sharing with you another Project Life page I created with pictures from our vacation back in 2013 to South Dakota we went there for our 24th wedding anniversary and we're actually going back again this coming August.It's such a beautiful state and we rented a cabin and rode our motorcycle.it's something we enjoy doing now that our kids are grown and on their own.he gets to ride his motorcycle and I get to take lots of pictures so we have the best of both worlds(I think) lol

Monday Madness "Everyday Life" Post #21 part 1

Hello it's DT Elecia here for another Monday Madness post

today's post is "part 1" post of 2(next Monday)

I don't do Project life "weekly" like most project lifers,I usually do may pages by "Monthly" it really depends how busy my life is on a weekly vs. monthly basis lol some weeks are very boring!!! but being that it's summer time.My husband and I love to do road trips on our motorcycle and we will be going on a week long vacation to South Dakota at the end of August on our Motorcycle.we have a Kawasaki Vulcane(yes! it's not a Harley lol)

This weekend we finally had a beautiful HOT day,we have gotten so much rain and it usually of course it usually rains on the weekends! go figure!!!

this bike trip was a total of 395 miles

traveled in the North East side of Iowa which is such a beautiful area lots of hills and not so much flatland.we enjoy traveling through small town rural areas and we always travel the back roads and not so much the interstate.I love taking photos of the old buildings and architecture and old farms.

Pink and Main Guest DT Project #2

Hello all you crafty peeps!!! 

here is another Guest DT project for Pink and Main Stamps

I used the stamp set "Whale of a time" so adorable

colored the whale and heart with copic pens

I cut the clouds out from a pattern cardstock and used pop dots on a couple of the clouds 

enamel dots embellishments
I just LOVE this stamp set!!!

I'm sure you can think of lots of reasons to scrap a specific family member. We can't wait to see!

For my project life layout,I couldn't pick just one specific family member,

so I did a layout of both my kids Brittany(25) and Tyler(22) they are my world and they have the best relationship any siblings could have.I have always stressed to them while growing up that they are all they have is each other and to always have each others back and they have done just that so far.I couldn't ask for anything more!!!!I love these two to the moon and back 100X's.

These are just a few pictures of them together for halloween,Tyler taking his sister for a ride on his new motorcycle,the two of them on the beach when we went back to Hawaii and the two of them on a night out in Iowa City posing with the Hawkeye!!!
