Bimini Moose Project Life Challenge with a twist-use only one card kit

Welcome back to another great Project Life/Scrapbook Challenge!

Always Anything Goes
Twist is Optional


The Optional Twist for this challenge is to USE ONE CARD KIT for your layout. No mix and matching this time (if you choose to embrace the optional twist). I don't know if I can do this one. All of my filler cards are mixed up in a basket so I can thumb through them easily. This Twist is a REAL challenge for me. Did I embrace the Twist? Or just wing it? Scroll down to see how the Design Team handled this one.

 Here is my Challenge project for this week.I used the We R Memory Keepers-"Inked Rose" I LOVE that kit!!! also used their 4X4 protector sleeves (for instagram photos) created the collage prints with my go to phone app "Photo Grid" I used stamps from American Crafts-"Dear Lizzy" and My Minds eye indie chic-"ginger pictures" a few "quote" cards from online printed as 4X4 photos from my daughters wedding just this past Sept.2014 and a recent candid shot of her and her husband Seth.didn't complete the journaling cause I need to google the lyrics to their wedding song

Monday Madness~Project Life# 11


Hello all you Project Lifers!!!

it's DT Elecia here today to share with you a very meaningful page that I have been wanting to put together since starting "Project Life" especially since his birthday was on the 26th of March it's of my dad who passed away in Oct. 2012 and we all celebrated his life and remembered him in our own way with our own families,some of us even made "birthday shout outs" on facebook(gotta love social media) and as I read everyone's shout outs it made me realize we all still miss him as if it just happened yesterday(sigh) he left a huge void in our lives and we are all trying to fill it with all the happy memories he left behind.I guess he was needed else where for a much bigger spiritual calling than being left here on earth.Which doesn't surprise me at all because he is an amazing man! 

a little detail about the photos;

left page(top)-collage army photo when he was 18, sitting with his dog "Woofy", motorcycle ride with my Mama,a photo of him and a blind gentle man that went with him to an art exhibit in Alaska,they were basket weavers.and another photo of their maltese dog,he was such the animal lover!!!   (middle row)- the "Birthday shout outs" photo of my parents and daughter at her high school graduation in 88 (bottom row)- his high school sports photos he was all star quarterback his senior year took their school to all state champions, My birthday shout out and my brother's response....mind you my brother is a man of few words so I had to snapshot what he wrote and keep it!!! and a photo of my parents

right page(top row) a candid shot of him eating,he loved good eats!!! and my parents were also in to paddling canoe and racing(something I never got into) (middle row)- my dad doing yard work,he could grow anything he planted(I unfortunately didn't inherit his green thumb) and his pet pig(yes a pig) my dad chilling at the beach(one of the last photos taken of him. (bottom row) my dad at my wedding(89), a photo taken about a month before my dad passed he's with my oldest brother on the left and my brother's son one the right, another yard working photo and my dad weaving baskets

Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party

 Hello all you Project Lifers!!!!

it's Bimini Moose DT Elecia here sharing with you another photo app situation lol there are numerous photo apps available and I could literally become an app hoarder!! seriously!!! but here's a little tip I figured out in this one particular app that is my "go to app" photo grid 

 the current photo apps on my phone :)

photo grid page,I use the "scrapbook" selection to print smaller photos
 and I end up with 2 photos for the price of 1(sweet deal)

 there's a pretty good selection for background paper(bottom of photo)
I add my 2 photos and rearrange them horizontally

to end up with approx. 2X3 size photos on a 4X6
depends on how large you resize them on to the background. which I ordered as a 4X6 photo, with an online coupon I spent about $0.13 cents per print(not too bad)

here are a few prints I've done so far!!!

and there ya go a fun "Spring" PL page!!warmer weather,beautiful SUN,grilling outside,good company and good eats!!!

Here is my project for this new challenge
I used a wedding picture of my daughters but couldn't find a place to print a 12X12 photo so I had to improvise with printing an 11X14 poster size photo from the photo lab I work in and I cut it down to 11X12 hence the boarder on the top and bottom because my photo was short an inch,I don't think it turned out too bad!! and when attempting to do a full page mosaic project life page,be sure that your subjects faces will be in one section and not split in half.that almost happened with my page,I was going to use the BH "A" page protector but it didn't work out that way as the cut would of been right across my daughters face lol so I went with a simple page protector style.
